Turtle Beach Rematch Review: Is This the Best-Looking Switch 2 Controller?
According to SHAHEDNEWS, The Turtle Beach Rematch is a wireless controller designed for Nintendo Switch 2, combining a playful design with modern gaming features. It comes in several Nintendo-inspired editions, with RGB lighting adding an extra touch to its colorful appearance.
The controller includes TMR thumbsticks, which are designed to provide precise movement while reducing the risk of stick drift. It also supports motion controls, features a dedicated GameChat button and comes with two programmable buttons on the back, giving players more options for customizing their controls.
Battery life can reach up to 40 hours on a full charge when the RGB lighting is turned off. With the lighting enabled, battery life is reduced to around 12 hours.
Another notable feature is its relatively lightweight construction. At approximately 358 grams, the Rematch is similar in size to Nintendo's official Switch 2 Pro Controller but can feel more compact in the hands. Textured grips are also included to provide a more secure hold during gameplay.
There are some features missing compared with Nintendo's official controller. The Rematch does not include haptic feedback and cannot be used to wake the Switch 2 console. Its plastic construction may also feel less premium to some users.
One of the biggest attractions of the Rematch is its variety of designs. Models inspired by Rosalina, KK Slider, Timmy & Tommy, Mario Kart World, Koopa Troop, Mario & Luigi and Super Mario are available, along with a matte-black version for a more understated look.
The standard Turtle Beach Rematch is priced at around $65, although sale prices can bring it down to about $50 or less. A special Fortnite Kevin the Cube edition is also available for around $70 and includes additional themed features.
With its combination of colorful Nintendo-inspired designs, TMR sticks, programmable buttons, wireless connectivity and relatively light weight, the Turtle Beach Rematch offers Switch 2 players another option beyond Nintendo's official controllers.
