Pezeshkian Reacts to Israeli Aggression Against Iran's Territory

According to SHAHEDNEWS, In the wake of a recent attack by the Israeli regime targeting the Iranian provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a strong statement.

In a post shared on the platform X, Pezeshkian declared, “Iran’s enemies should know [this] that the warrior nation stands fearlessly in defense of its soil and responds to any act of folly with prudence and intelligence.”

The President expressed his condolences to the families of those affected by the attacks, praising the victims for their ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation. He extended his sympathies to the Army, the bereaved families, and the wider Iranian populace over the martyrdom of these servicemen.

Officials within the Islamic Republic had previously cautioned the Israeli regime against undertaking any provocative actions. However, on Saturday morning, the Tel Aviv regime launched strikes on several military sites in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, escalating tensions in the region, according to the Iran Air Defense Force.

The Iranian military confirmed that the assault was effectively countered by the nation’s integrated air defense system, stating that the aggressive actions of the Zionists resulted in limited damage to various locations. However, the Iranian Army reported the loss of four of its servicemen during the confrontations.
